In the aftermath of a significant fire incident in November 2017 that destroyed a substantial portion of the Tolko Lakeview sawmill, D7 Mechanical was contracted to undertake the subsequent rebuild.
In 2019, D7 Pneumatics were contracted by Interfor's Eatonton Mill in Georgia to provide vital assistance with the upgrade of their planer mill.
Situated on a sprawling 148-acre site in Bay Springs in Mississippi, Interfor Bay Springs sawmill became part of Interfor's portfolio in 2021 through a strategic acquisition from Georgia Pacific.
D7 Mechanical spearheaded a modernization initiative for West Fraser during a comprehensive upgrade to their High Prairie sawmill in Alberta.
In a time-sensitive project spanning from June to August 2021, D7 Mechanical played an important role in the replacement of fire protection systems at Tolko Armstrong's sawmill kilns and plywood plant dryer systems in British Columbia.
The repair project encompassed the restoration of the essential steam and condensation infrastructure. Following the successful repair, the team also efficiently dismantled a chip cyclone.
Commencing in August 2022 and concluding in December 2023, D7 Pneumatics collaborated on a transformative project at West Fraser's sawmill in Newberry, South Carolina. This endeavor - focused on the Continuous Drying Kiln (CDK) - was undertaken by a team of 20 from D7 Pneumatics, and included the intricate tasks of managing all underground utilities, significant earthworks, and the installation of the process piping.
